It's THE WEEKEND!!! (Giveaway Included!)

No Foodie Friday today... though I am in the middle of making enchiladas.
Because it's Saturday, it's a three day weekend, I made it through this crazy week (going to work and school is hard!!), AND my birthday is today, I thought I would do a little giveaway.

My rotary cutter definitely tops my list of must-have sewing tools.  I know they aren't for everyone, but having one (and a big cutting mat) has without a doubt made me more accurate when cutting fabric.  It's also faster and more fun than scissors.  I ended up with two new ones for Christmas, so I thought I would spread the rotary cutter love and give one away.
To enter, just leave a comment and tell me something (anything!) about your week.  Make sure to leave your email address if it is not posted on your blog or blogger profile.  I'll ship anywhere.
Happy Weekend!!

Edited to Add: Giveaway ends Wednesday at 11:59PM EST!

Happy birthday!!! Hope you have a great birthday weekend!!! :)

My week has been kind of boring, basically doing the same stuff everyday ... But I'm in the middle of opening my first online shop, so that's kind of fun, busy, exciting and scary at the same time ...

Anyway, thank you for doing the giveaway and happy birthday!!!

My week ended on an interesting note - I gained access to a copy of the Papercut Pattern Coppelia. Hope to make it this weekend!

  5. Glad the week is over! I teach 7th grade, and Valentine's Day was way too emotional for my kiddos...and the romance seems WAY too early this year! Usually they wait until spring to "pair" up!

  6. Don't count me in for the rotary cutter as I already have one-- I just came to spread the love for them! Mine has made cutting fabric much easier, especially slippery ones. Now, the cutting mats are crazy pricey and I've always made do with a small one, but I can't wait for the day where I'll buy a huge one!

  8. Happy Birthday!!! This is the perfect giveaway for me this week, because I've been making great progress on a quilt this week and noticed last night that my rotary cutter is getting quite dull (yes, I know I could get another blade) but new tools are so fun.

  9. Happy Birthday! Glad that your crazy week is over. :)

All things considered, my week could have included more sunshine, but apart from that it has been nice if rather lazy. Our spring break has already started, and I'm just revising for exams anyway, and my boyfriend had his birthday on Monday, so I did a lot of studying in bed with a nice cup of coffee. :)

  18. Happy birthday! Please count me in, I'd love a rotary cutter! I just have my scissors and cut on the floor, but I've been meaning to go buy a big cutting mat. This week I finally sold our old dresser and the bedroom looks much bigger, but now I want to redecorate! And I just did a little sewing, a gift for a coworker. Oh and I got some more fabric to add to my little stash :) thanks for the giveaway!

  21. I have traveled 4 States in 24 hours. From California to Philly. Philly to Ohio. Ohio to North Carolina. North Carolina back to California. All for one 4-hour work expo. On a good note, all the plane travel allowed me to get a huge amount of knitting done on my current cardi project.

  26. Happy Birthday! This week I have been missing my son and his family. I just got home after helping them for three weeks. My DIL had surgery and I took care of the house and kids while she recuperated. Oh, what fun I had. This week, I keep remembering sweet things they said or did and it makes me smile! But....oh do I miss them.

  36. I already have a rotary cutter, and indeed spend most of my weekend with it (cutting out the minoru, lining and interlining, uff!), but I wanted to say happy birthday! Hope you had a lovely day, and a fantastic weekend :-) Last week was the week I realized that it's no longer dark when I come out of the tube after work. And there was some sunshine!
